The contents of the course
Agile methods and approaches are increasingly being used in a wide variety of areas. Scrum practices involve setting up interdisciplinary, self-managed, and autonomous teams that deliver a result (“increment”) at the end of each iteration, known as a “sprint.” The certification exam focuses on the broad acceptance of agile or Scrum in the working environment of the respective organization and the assumption of the role of “Scrum Master.”
This course provides you with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to work successfully as a Scrum Master. You will learn the principles and practices of agile and Scrum and delve into the specific tasks and responsibilities of a Scrum Master. Practical exercises cover topics such as team coordination, conflict management, and process optimization. Scrum is the most used Agile methodology and is suitable for all professionals looking to keep their knowledge up to date with the latest developments in the fields of IT and Project Management, particularly those leading or participating in projects. In particular, the certification is suitable for professionals working in an Agile context and who have the ambition to facilitate a Scrum Team by assuming the role of a Scrum Master.
Certification
- EXIN Agile Scrum Master. Exam available in German or English. This exam can also be taken online upon request. An additional flat fee of €50 applies for this option.
- At the end of the second day, participants complete an exam to become an internationally recognized EXIN Agile Scrum Master.
- Type of exam: Multiple-choice questions, paper-based
- Exam duration: 90 minutes

- Minimum score: 65% (i.e., 26 out of 40 questions)
