The contents of the course
The training provides a full review of the discipline of product management for software products including the management of software parts of software-intensive products, i.e. systems and services.
The training addresses the needs of people involved in software product management, including those that the product manager interfaces with, e.g. executive management, marketing and sales, research and development, operations, service and support.
The training, which is based on the curriculum developed by the International Software Products Management Association (ISPMA), V.2.0, covers all areas of the SPM Framework:

- The entire spectrum of SPM topics and tasks
- Strategic Management
- Product strategy (product positioning, delivery model, sourcing, business aspects, pricing, ecosystem management, legal aspects)
- Product planning (product lifecycle management, product requirements management, release planning, roadmapping)
- Orchestration (coordinating function vis-à-vis development, marketing, sales and services)
- Preparation for certification as a “Certified Software Product Manager (ISPMA® SPM)”
Objective
This seminar prepares you for the certification exam. You will learn methods for managing and coordinating the areas of development, production, marketing, sales and logistics within the company with the aim of sustainably optimizing product success. You will receive lots of practical advice on how to apply theory directly to your project environment based on practical examples. The seminar provides many approaches for standardizing your product management processes.
